30 Rock to Return for New Hour-Long Special

Music, News

30 Rock is coming back for one more episode, as Variety reports. The beloved NBC comedy series came to a close in 2013, after 7 years on the air. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, and more of the original actors are set to return for the special, which was filmed under social distancing guidelines and will also apparently double as a promotional spot for the network’s forthcoming slate of shows. The 30 Rock special airs Thursday, July 16, at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

30 Rock is the latest NBC show to get a comeback special. Parks and Recreation came back for a one-off episode in April during a telecast to raise money for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
