Waxahatchee to Play Entire Discography in New Livestream Series

Music, News

In the wake of her canceled tour due to COVID-19, Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield has announced a series of five livestream concerts during which she’ll perform her entire discography. The shows start with 2012’s American Weekend on June 1 and will end with this year’s Saint Cloud on June 29.

“This idea was born as a way to help support my band and crew through this time where we’ve had to cancel and move shows, thus causing a huge financial burden,” Crutchfield said in a statement. “I’m also donating a portion of the ticket sales to indie promoters around the country who have been so warm and hospitable to me over the years but are now facing a huge strain on their business.” Find the full schedule below.

This month, Crutchfield joined Whitney for a cover of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” She also teamed up with Kevin Morby for a remote Tiny Desk Concert.
