Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff Team for Mysterious “Look What You Made Me Do” Cover on Killing Eve

Music, News

Last night’s episode of the BBC spy drama Killing Eve featured a mysterious cover of Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.” That the show used a cover rather than the original is not unusual: magisterial, downbeat pop covers are Killing Eve’s trademark musical style. But the track piqued fans’ interest when Swift shouted out its makers: a band called Jack Leopards & the Dolphin Club.

Streaming services credit the song’s production to Jack Antonoff (an original co-writer of “Look What You Made Me Do”) and one Nils Sjöberg, the alias Swift created for her writing credit on Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For.” As for Jack Leopards & the Dolphin Club, this is the first online record of a group with that name.

Internet sleuths suspect that the cover’s vocalist is Austin Swift, Taylor’s brother, who reportedly once adopted the Twitter username The Dolphin Club. The single’s cover art appears to feature a childhood photo of Austin. Listen to the cover below.
