Brandy has enlisted Chance the Rapper for a new song called “Baby Mama.” “The inspiration for Baby Mama was of course my daughter and how she makes me a better person,” Brandy wrote on her YouTube page. She added: “I wanted to do a song about her and speak to all baby mamas out there that may feel like they can’t make it or they can’t push through, you know, if you use your child as an inspiration you can do anything and I want to everybody to feel that.” Listen to “Baby Mama” below.
“Baby Mama” was produced by Hit-Boy. Brandy announced that the single will receive an accompanying music video this coming Monday (May 4). The singer’s last studio album was 2012’s Two Eleven. Last year, she joined Anderson .Paak onstage at Coachella for a live rendition of “Jet Black.”
