Francesca didn’t go on Too Hot To Handle expecting to fall in love, but that’s exactly what she found in Harry. The two are still together today, even as coronavirus keeps them physically apart.
It’s been less than a week since Too Hot To Handle dropped on Netflix, but already the show has risen to the top of the streaming charts. Francesca said she has gotten almost all positive feedback, after waiting a year dreading a villainous edit. She was romantically involved with Harry before Lana laid down the stringent rules. After a small tiff with Harry, Francesca kissed Haley and went on a date with Kelz. Ultimately, Francesca couldn’t get Harry out of her head. They got back together. And although they have had to keep their relationship a secret, they have stayed together in the more than a year since the show filmed.
Francesca told Screen Rant on Wednesday, “Yeah, we’re still dating.” It’s official. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. COVID-19 has kept them away from each other. Francesca lives in Vancouver and Harry in Australia. Francesca said, “Our entire relationship has just been a massive test. The past year that we’ve been together has been a roller coaster.” She said she and Harry broke up for a short amount of time to “regroup and process our thoughts” but now they’re “stronger than ever.”
On the show, Francesca talked to Harry about moving to Canada. Harry expressed some apprehension about snow. Now, Francesca said she would move to Australia for a bit with Harry. She’s open to relocating to L.A. with her boyfriend. She said they’ve even talked about decamping to Thailand. Of course, all future plans are currently on hold. Francesca said, We’re just trying to find a loophole to figure out how we can hang out, but we’re excited for this to all be over so we can move in together and start living a normal life together. We’re very excited for that.”
Based on the type of contestants Too Hot To Handle recruited, it wasn’t likely that any relationships would last long term. But Francesca and Harry surprised themselves and one another by finding something long lasting. Francesca said she was changed by the experience. Her message to the haters – of which, thankfully, there are few – is this: “For people who are skeptical, this is real and we did fall in love. We’re still together and we’re planning the most crazy future together. So, it is possible. You just have to be open to it.”
