One of the biggest shocks in the damn good tenth season of “The Walking Dead” came in episode 12 when Negan sliced Alpha’s throat and removed her head from her body. He then proceeded to hand deliver the head to Carol, revealing that a deal had been struck between the two at some point. Turns out, it was Carol who released Negan from prison.
AMC has unleashed the first three minutes of this coming Sunday night’s “Look at the Flowers,” and it showcases precisely what went down on that fateful day in Alexandria.
Alpha’s fate, on that day, was sealed…

“Look at the Flowers” airs Sunday, March 29th on AMC. It’s the 14th of 16 total episodes in season 10. Unfortunately, the season finale will not be airing with the rest of the season.
