Broke Horror Fan and Fangoria Are Releasing New Joe Begos Film ‘VFW’ on Fully Functional VHS!

Horror

One of this year’s most fun horror movies thus far is Joe Begos VFW, a wild and bloody good time that’s led by an incredible cast of familiar faces we always love to see on screen.

All of us here on BD had a blast with VFW (read Meagan’s review), and we’re looking forward to revisiting the throwback film on an old format it’s kinda perfect for: VHS, of course!

Broke Horror Fan and Fangoria are bringing VFW to limited edition, fully functional VHS, and the tape goes on sale Tuesday, March 31, at 12pm EST at WitterEntertainment.com.

Officially licensed from RLJE Films, VFW arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with hand-painted artwork by Paul Wee, limited to 50.

For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame.

Each tape will also include exclusive extras.

In VFW, starring Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Martin Kove, David Patrick Kelly, George Wendt and Fred Williamson

A typical night for a group of war veterans at the local VFW turns into an all-out battle for survival when a teenage girl runs into the bar with a bag of stolen drugs. Under attack from a gang of punk mutants looking to get back what’s theirs, the vets use every weapon they can put together to protect the girl, and their VFW, in the biggest fight of their lives.
