Report: Mischa Barton Fired From The Hills For Being Boring

I cannot say that I am surprised Mischa Barton (reportedly) got fired from The Hills: New Beginnings. She wasn’t a part of the original Hills run. She had such a forced “connection” to the cast. Oh, and most importantly, she had no storyline. Mischa brought absolutely nothing to the table.

We saw her audition for some acting role that she didn’t get, but that was pretty much it. Other than that, we just saw her shopping with the others and chilling in the background. As an enthusiastic fan of The OC, I was really hoping for a Mischa Barton comeback. But, the truth is, she’s not nearly as interesting as her onscreen counterpart Marissa Cooper.

TMZ recently reported that Mischa is the only Season 1 cast member who was not asked back for Season 2. Ouch. That’s got to sting, especially since there were a few people that were just as boring as Mischa in The Hills cast. Truth be told, a bunch of them need to go. Otherwise, they have to majorly step it up.

TMZ claims that producers “found Mischa’s story line a bit bland.” Ummm, what storyline did she even have? Describing her appearance as “bland” is kind in all honesty. Those same sources told TMZ that producers felt “her personality a little boring.” Watching it, she just seemed uncomfortable. Reality TV isn’t for everyone.

So, who’s gonna replace Mischa? Caroline D’Amore. If you’re thinking “who is that?” she might be a little bit familiar to you if you think back to the golden era of Kim Kardashian following around partying with Paris Hilton in the early 2000’s. Apparently she’s gonna bring some drama. And, if that’s the case, I am all for it.
