‘Mutant Year Zero’ Developer Reveals New Tactical Strategy Game, ‘Corruption 2029’

Horror

Fresh from their success with Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, developer The Bearded Ladies have revealed their latest effort in another post-apocalyptic game, Corruption 2029. The best part? It’s coming out next week!

Set for release on February 17th as an Epic Games Store exclusive, like Mutant Year Zero, Corruption 2029 is a tactical strategy game, but in this case, it borrows inspiration from franchises like XCOM and The Terminator.

The story goes that in Corruption 2029, America is overrun by corrupted, inhuman creatures, with which players will have to duke it out with their own group of augmented soldiers. Similar to Mutant Year Zero, Corruption 2029 focuses on stealth and surveying your environment before deciding whether or not you want to engage in a battle.

No word yet on if the game will see a release on Steam.
