An Umbrella Turns into a Deadly Monster in This Really Cool and Very Short Viral Video

Horror

“I create funny animations and videos. Usually they are all about explosions and all kinds of madness,” Patiffonka explains over on his Patreon page, and that’s a pretty perfect introduction for the latest video he released this week. For good reason, it’s gone viral.

In the 13-second short, which currently has 1.1 million views from @Patiffonka‘s tweet alone – plus 3 million additional views thanks to a tweet from @Lumrunner that brought the video to our attention this afternoon – a man’s umbrella takes on a life of its own in what looks to be a subway station, turning into a spider-like monster and going on a rampage.

The short video, which has quickly amassed well over 100,000 re-tweets, is completely without sound or explanation, and honestly, it’s much creepier as a result.

Check out the video below, along with a making-of tweet underneath!
