Scheana Marie Reacts To Offensive Tweets From Vanderpump Rules Newbies Max Boyens & Brett Caprioni

Scheana Marie Watch What Happens Live

For the first three episodes of Vanderpump Rules Season 8, Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens have spent most of their scenes talking shit about Scheana Marie. They’re using Scheana and her “boy crazy” tendencies for a storyline.

Well, now, it’s Scheana’s turn to sound off on them. And the label “boy crazy” is a lot better than being called “racist,” isn’t it? Both Max and Brett found themselves in hot water last week when old tweets resurfaced with them both using the n-word from 2011 to 2013. So, of course, this came up when Scheana was a guest on Watch What Happens Live last night.

Andy Cohen said to Scheana, “I’ve got to ask what you thought of the tweets that came out last week from Max and Brett?” And he’s most likely going to ask every single Vanderpump Rules cast member that question every Tuesday night on WWHL until the next scandal emerges.

Scheana began, “Obviously, nothing they said is OK. I don’t condone anything that they said. I can say more on Max’s behalf. He is a good person, he has a good heart, and he’s been an amazing friend to me, despite what you’re seeing on the show.” At least those tweets weren’t sent from that Apple watch Scheana got him for a Thanksgiving present (are Thanksgiving presents a thing?).

And then she got to Brett, the man who made it very clear he wanted nothing to do with Scheana, while simultaneously talking about her constantly. Scheana said, “Brett, I have never really gotten to know well enough.” If only he reciprocated Scheana’s flirtations on camera. She might have had his back last night. Oh, well. Clearly, she’s better off, no matter how old those tweets are.

Scheana remarked, “I don’t think anything he said is OK or excusable.” And then she remembered that Max pretty much did the same thing and she added, “Either of them.”

Obviously, it’s too late to edit Max and Brett out of Season 8, but am I the only one who noticed they cut down on the Brett and Max confessionals during last night’s episode? Is that a coincidence? I cannot help wondering. But, here’s the real question: Will Brett and Max be back for Vanderpump Rules Season 9?

Lisa Vanderpump seems to think that they’ve learned a lesson from this. Meanwhile, Lala Kent is adamant that immaturity is not an excuse for bigotry.
