Now that Vanderpump Rules Season 8 has (finally) arrived, the cast members are doing their thing to promote the show. And this means interviews on interviews.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have been chatting about their new lives as newlyweds and their plans to add to the family. On yesterday’s episode of Pop of the Morning, Jax was asked, “Who out of the cast would you let babysit your child?” And he had a pretty surprising answer.
Without flinching, Jax said, “Probably, Kristen [Doute].” After some confused looks from the hosts, Jax rhetorically asked, “Yeah, I know, right?”
Jax went on to explain, “She’s is very motherly.” Host Lilliana Vazquez commented, ” She’s like mothering [Brian] Carter right now.” And by “mothering,” that includes paying his bills and letting him live in her home rent-free.

Jax responded, “She’s mothered Carter. She’s mothered Tom Sandoval. She’s mothered everybody in her relationships.” James Kennedy included, I assume.
Then he was asked about Lisa Vanderpump’s spot on the list of potential babysitters. Jax commented, “I think she’s past her prime with that. I don’t think she would want to.”

After, Jax elaborated, “The child that I’m gonna have is gonna be a demon child. If there’s karma, I’m gonna have gorgeous daughters probably.” Yeah, I could see that happening too. Jax continued, “I’ve been such a bad person my whole life. Well, not bad, but I’ve just done a lot of bad things. A lot of bad decisions.” And we are all grateful for most of those. We’ve witnessed some entertaining television moments throughout the years thanks to those bad decisions.
