Bethesda Reveals Screenshots, More Info on Upcoming Wastelanders Expansion For ‘Fallout 76’

Horror

Bethesda have kicked off the new year with a new blog entry dropping more info and screenshots for the upcoming Fallout 76 Wastelanders expansion, which was originally planned for 2019 but was delayed until later this year.

As was previously revealed, the expansion will add human NPCs to the game for the first time. What’s new is the area in which the NPCs will inhabit, called Watoga Underground. Watoga, known as “The City of the Future”, is what you’d call the typical 1940s view of a futuristic city, which “envisions a bustling, walkable metropolis where the streets are clear of illegally parked automobiles, traffic and hit-and-run accidents,” and is built “on top of a massive series of automated parking garage systems which allow citizens to drop off their cars and store them until they’re needed again.”

Other than the Watoga info and a few new screenshots of the area, Bethesda still hasn’t revealed a release date. However, the developers are have also taken the opportunity to announce that Fallout 76 will be having a double XP event taking place from January 9 to January 13.

Fallout 76 is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
