Teresa and Joe Giudice separate after 20 years of marriage

It’s finally over for Teresa and Joe Giudice.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars have separated after 20 years of marriage, a source told People on Tuesday. The split comes as Joe awaits a final ruling in his deportation case after being ordered back to his native Italy following 41 months in prison for various counts of fraud.

“They discussed their future when Teresa and the girls went to Italy in early November and they agreed that each had to move on. They are doing so amicably and very slowly,” the source told the outlet.

The source told People that Joe has been out on a few dates, but Teresa has not. “She is happy for Joe,” the source said. “They have been very friendly with one another and are very supportive of each other’s happiness. They still love one another.”

The source said there are no immediate plans to divorce, but “neither is interested in a long-distance relationship.”

Teresa was also sentenced to 15 months behind bars for her involvement and served her time ahead of Joe’s stint.

Teresa and Joe, both 47, have been married since 1999 and share four daughters: Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10.

Their daughters have been pulling out all the stops to bring Joe home — even pleading with President Trump in a Change.org petition.

Teresa always maintained that she would stick by Joe, but changed her tune during the show’s Season 9 reunion, telling Andy Cohen that she and Joe would go their separate ways if he is deported for good.

“I hope that’s not a decision I have to make,” she said. “But like, to pick up my children and just move to another country, I don’t think that would be good for my children. So I mean, so no, I probably wouldn’t.”

Soon after, Teresa was spotted holding hands with Blake Schreck, 26, but her attorney insisted to Page Six at the time that they were not dating.

The couple’s attorney declined to comment Tuesday on whether Teresa and Joe have separated.
