French Montana Is ”Finally” Discharged From the ICU as He Shares Photo From Hospital

UPDATEFrench Montana is feeling extra grateful this Thanksgiving. More than a week after he was first hospitalized, the rapper took to Instagram with a positive update on his prognosis. 

“Thank you everyone for all of the prayers, love and support,” he shared alongside a photo of him standing next to his hospital bed. “I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time!!!”

UPDATE: Though French Montana was expected to leave the hospital shortly after being admitted on Thursday, E! News has learned the rapper is not on the mend yet. As he is still experiencing stomach pains, doctors continue to monitor him, keeping an especially close eye on his heart.

French Montana was hospitalized Thursday over concerns for his cardiovascular health, E! News has learned. 

Authorities with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department say the 35-year-old rapper was transported via ambulance from his home to a Los Angeles hospital. Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, decided to seek medical treatment after experiencing nausea, stomach pains and an elevated heart rate. 

Despite the alarming hospitalization, we’re told French is awake and alert. He is currently undergoing treatment and is expected to be released sometime later day. 

Following news of French’s health issues, fans offered their well wishes to the hip-hop star on social media. 

According to his Instagram, it appears French had recently spent time with his loved ones in his native Morocco.
