Russell Hornsby is playing the leading role of Lincoln Rhyme in NBC’s newly re-titled new series “Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector,“ an adaptation of Jeffrey Deaver’s The Bone Collector series. Of course, Deaver’s saga was first turned into the feature film The Bone Collector back in 1999, which starred Denzel Washington as Lincoln Rhyme.
Arielle Kebbel will co-star as Amelia Sachs, played by Angelina Jolie in the film.
The hunt begins on January 10, 2020. Watch the first teaser below.
“The series follows legendary forensic criminologist Lincoln Rhyme, who was seriously injured during his hunt for the diabolic serial killer known as the Bone Collector.”
“Called back into action when the killer re-emerges, Lincoln forms a unique partnership with Amelia Sachs, a young beat cop who helps him hunt the deadly mastermind while also taking on the most high-profile cases in the NYPD.”
The project hails from writers VJ Boyd and Mark Bianculli (S.W.A.T.), Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television, in association with Keshet Studios.
