Robert Rodriguez Sets Sights on Sci-fi Thriller ‘Hypnotic,’ Written With ‘Skull Island’ Scribe

One of Robert Rodriguez‘s next projects will be the big budget sci-fi thriller Hypnotic, Deadline reports tonight, which Rodriguez co-wrote with Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island).

In the film…

“A detective becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program while investigating a string of impossible high-end heists.”

The site notes that the budget will be in the $60-80 million range.

Solstice Studios and Studio 8 are producing and bringing the film to AFM.
