Horror

On April 14th, 1915, Coal Tycoon Frederick C. Keighley was found dead in his garage with a gunshot wound to the head. It is believed that this was an act of suicide. Some think that he was distraught over the illness of his daughter, but it is most likely due to the closing of the First National Bank.

However, there is some mystery surrounding Mr. Keighley’s untimely death. Rumors circulated that he was hanged in his office by his own staff and that the suicide was later staged in his garage. After the death of Fredick Keighley the home was owned by the city coroner who conducted autopsies in the building with the city funeral home conveniently located next door, these factors contribute to the mansion being considered a “hot bed” for paranormal activity.

Reported activity: Full body apparitions, direct intelligent spirit communication, physical manipulation of paranormal devices, objects, and people, and disembodied voices
