In spite of it being delayed alongside DOOM Eternal, Bethesda and id Software have released the official announcement trailer for the upcoming re-release of DOOM 64. The game will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on March 20, 2020, and is included as a free pre-order bonus for DOOM Eternal.
Originally developed by Midway and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997 as a sequel to the DOOM II: Hell on Earth, DOOM 64 has the lone marine facing the resurrected hordes of Hell after a military operation to wipe out the remaining demons fails.
