Creepshow Released Early on Shudder

Horror

Shudder is now streaming the premier episode of the 2019 reboot of Creepshow. The first episode contains two stories, Gray Matter & The House of the Head.

Gray Matter is based on a short story from Stephen King’s Night Shift.  Tobin Bell, Ginacarlo Esposito, and Adrienne Barbeau star in this segment.  Gary Matter is directed by Greg Nicotero.

The second segment The House of Head is directed by Josh Harrison and written by Josh Malerman. This segment stars Rachel Hendriz, David Shae, Cailey Fleming, and Diane D. Carter.

When Shudder announced that they were rebooting the horror anthology series, I was a little concerned. But based on watching the first part of the premier episode, I am excited.

Creepshow is based on the 1982 horror comedy classic written by Stephen King and George A. Romero. The show was scheduled to premier on today at 9pm; however, somebody at Shudder must have pushed the button early.

Greg Nicotero, the showrunner, for Creepshow recently hosted a Ask Me Anything on r/horror Reddit. Check it out. After reading his responses, I think they will do a solid job with the classic series.
