The Collected aka The Collector 3 is currently in production, and we have proof. Today, Patrick Melton tweeted a photo from the set of The Collected. The picture gives us a glimpse of what appears to be the Collector tightening up his mask. He is wearing a black long sleeved shirt with some patches on the arms. You can’t make out what is on the patches. It is unclear if this is actually the Collector or maybe one of the other characters.

If you remember at the end of The Collection; Arkin appears to track down the Collector. But what is unclear is if he actually killed the Collector or maybe that was just some sort of dream. I’m unsure how Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are going to bring back the Collector. But I believe if anybody can do it this writing duo can. They wrote most of the Saw movies.
The filmmakers are not given away any clues to what the plot could be. The only thing that they have disclosed is that this is the third found in The Collector franchise. It is a follow-up 2012’s The Collection.
The Collected is being directed by Marcus Dunstan based on the screenplay written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. The movie stars Josh Stewart, Dot-Marie Jones, and Peter Giles.
Thank you to whoever decided to greenlight this film. The Collector and The Collection are both great horror films. I can’t wait to see how this third installment is going to turn out.
