Would You Spend the Evening with the Real Annabelle Doll?

Horror

When most people hear the name Annabelle; they think of the Annabelle movie series. The movies are based on the real-life haunted doll, Annabelle. The real Annabelle is an antique Raggedy Ann doll. An inhuman demonic spirit is said to be attached to the doll. Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose work has inspired The Conjuring and Annabelle movies, removed the doll and stored her in their Occult Museum. Would you spend an evening with the real-life Annabelle doll?

This October, a limited number of attendees will have the opportunity to spend the evening with the real-life Annabelle doll. On October 26, 2019, the New England Society For Psychic Research (NESPR) is hosting an event in Monroe, Connecticut.

The event will include an all-you-can-eat buffet. After the meal, there will be screenings of videos, including a video telling the real story of Annabelle, an actual real-life exorcism, in a video tour of the occult Museum.

Tony Spera, NESPR Director, will host the question and answer segment after the videos. After the evening, items from the occult Museum will be put on display. These items include the “conjuring mirror” and the real Annabelle doll.

Real Annabelle in Case

Those looking to attend the event will have to sign a waiver. This is a rare opportunity to see the real-life Annabelle doll in person. Previously the dog was on display in the Warrens’ Occult Museum. The museum is currently closed due to zoning regulations.

The NESPR was founded in 1952 by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Their son-in-law, Tony Spera currently runs the organization. For those of you who have watched Annabelle Comes Home, Tony is married to Ed and Lorraine’s daughter Judy.

While on the surface, this seems like a fun event I am unsure how I would feel about being in the same room as Annabelle. There are too many documented cases of the Annabelle doll influencing, affecting, and even harming people who have come into contact with the doll. That is why the waiver is required to attend the event. If you’re brave enough to spend an evening with Annabelle tickets can be purchased on the NESPR website.
