Kenya Moore And Marc Daly’s Break-Up Filmed By RHOA Cameras

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore took a hefty pay cut to twirl her way back on the show for Season 12. She was fired after Season 10 because she refused to make her private life with her husband, Marc Daly, available to the show. It is a reality show, right? So why would Kenya expect that she could avoid having her marriage documented on camera?

While Kenya made $1.5 million for Season 10 of RHOA, she is now making $500,000 for Season 12. It is alleged that Marc is having some financial issues, so he fits right in with the rest of the Housewives universe.

Kenya and Marc’s sudden split seemed surprising. But now more information is coming to light about their relationship. According to People, the couple was married in June of 2017 in St. Lucia. Both Kenya and Marc gave statements exclusively to People about their break-up. Kenya stated, “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment,” Kenya added. “I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”

Marc’s statement said, “I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way,” Marc said. “Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”

The timing of this seems very strange. People reported that on September 16, Kenya and Marc were interviewed on The Tamron Hall Show about Kenya’s fertility struggles. So, I guess Marc is just allergic to Bravo cameras?

According to RadarOnline, Kenya argued with her husband while he was hosting a charity event on September 17, and Bravo cameras were rolling. A source claimed that “Marc told Eva’s [Marcille] husband that he is tired of Kenya’s s**t. He called her an attention whore.”

The source alleged that RHOA co-star Marlo Hampton (of course!) overheard the conversation between Marc and Eva’s husband, Michael Sterling. Marlo then supposedly told NeNe Leakes, Eva, and Cynthia Bailey. Kenya overheard Marlo spilling the tea about Marc’s comments. The insider told RadarOnline that “Kenya was shouting all sorts of threats at Marc and the cameras kept rolling. Marc just doesn’t want to be on TV. It is plain and simple.” It does seem like classic Kenya to confront Marc on camera.

It seems that the couple’s marital issues worsened after Kenya re-joined RHOA. “Marc doesn’t return her calls, he doesn’t come to Atlanta, doesn’t see their baby. It is all very upsetting to Kenya.”

RadarOnline previously reported that having a long-distance relationship was a strain on the couple since Marc spends a great deal of time in New York City. A source explained, “Marc has only been to Atlanta a few times to film with Kenya and the baby, but he doesn’t live there, and he isn’t there full-time. Kenya is in a long-distance relationship and that is hard as a mom, as a wife and as someone on a reality show.”

Taking care of Brooklyn alone has apparently been stressful for Kenya. “Kenya had a meltdown. She said on camera how much she was having to deal with, and the pressure was really intense. Kenya feels like she is doing all of the parenting in the relationship, and it is overwhelming for her,” the insider revealed. “Kenya is an open book this season and she’s sharing everything she feels, especially how as a new mom she is feeling a lot of pressure.”

It sounds like RHOA viewers will have a front-row seat to all the drama in Kenya’s life–whether it is the disintegration of her marriage or the stress of being a mother. And you can bet that the rest of the Atlanta Housewives will have plenty to say on the subject–especially Kenya’s arch-rival NeNe.
