‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ is Out Now For Nintendo Switch

Horror

Fascinating, yet flawed Italian survival horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers had already been lined up for a release on the Nintendo Switch and suffered delays, and now we know the new date for its launch is…well, right now!

It’s been a busy old week for the Switch, with the latest Nintendo Direct giving us surprises such as the reveal of Deadly Premonition 2 (as well as a Switch port of the original), a slew of SNES games such as Ghouls N’ Ghosts, and unfortunately, the existence of a Devil May Cry 2 port, but clearly the surprises didn’t end there as Remothered casually drops onto the eShop today for $29.99

Stormind Games’ survival-based horror title has won a lot of people over with its rather unique take on a classic genre. It’s both an intriguing throwback to the survival horrors of old, and something else entirely, inspired very much by classic Italian horror cinema (and a teensy bit by Silence of the Lambs).

It’s a good chance to check it out ahead of its sequel, Broken Porcelain.
