Films like Pet Sematary and Hostel have memorably exploited the horror of the sliced Achilles tendon, which always tends to make for a downright painful-to-watch moment in any movie. The latest poster for FX’s slasher-inspired “American Horror Story: 1984” preys upon that fear, with masked maniac “Mr. Jingles” armed and ready to slice from underneath a bed.
