Dorit and PK Kemsley need a break, and it looks like they might have gotten one. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has had quite a year. After losing a dog in the worst adoption ever, Dorit also lost a good friend. In the midst of her personal drama, Dorit and PK were suffering financial drama as well. Encino Beverly Beach by Dorit was under scrutiny from Dorit’s business partner. PK may or may not have had an emotional affair with some gambling tables. As Dorit’s relationships faltered, so did her bank account.
In an effort to keep PK’s legs from being broken control their spending, Dorit and PK made the decision to unload Sam Nazarian’s their mansion in Beverly Hills. An open house, featured on Million Dollar Listing LA in January 2019 lead to a sobering update at the end of the episode. Two weeks after the event, Dorit and PK were robbed. They were among a slew of celebrities targeted by bougie thieves. Now, on the heels of moving into another rental home, Dorit and PK are breathing a sigh of relief that someone might be going to jail – and it isn’t them.
In June 2018, Dorit and PK were trying to sell their home. What they didn’t know, is the people they were working with were kindred spirits planned to steal from them. Thankfully the good guys won this time, and the perpetrators have been arrested. According to Radar Online, “two men allegedly used open houses to ‘help facilitate the crimes’.” The District Attorney’s Office released a statement, “In many instances, the pair allegedly identified the targets or committed the burglaries during open houses in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Brentwood and Hollywood Hills,” Deputy District Attorney Stephen Morgan revealed.
Information regarding what the two bandits ALLEGEDLY stole from PK and Dorit is scarce, but there could be some priceless autographed photos of Boy George floating around the eBay. Documents show details of the arrest of realtor Jason Emil Yaselli and Benjamin Eitan Ackerman, who were “charged with 32 counts of money laundering, 12 counts of first-degree residential burglary, two counts of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, two counts of identity theft. Charges also include one count of conspiracy to commit burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering,” the DA’s office said.

We do not know if the alleged house hijackers attempted to return any of the counterfeit items taken from Dorit and PK’s home. We also don’t the going rate on stolen BERKEN bags. Other celebrities were also victimized by the larcenist duo, including Usher and Adam Lambert. The criminal complaint claimed, “From December 2016 through August 2018, Yaselli allegedly encouraged Ackerman to steal luxury items from 14 homes, sell them and use the proceeds to make payments on Yaselli’s credit card.” Crazy how some people will reduce themselves to crime when trying to pay bills, amirite?
The criminals now face a possible maximum sentence of 31 years and 8 months in state prison if convicted as charged. In a move that significantly raises Dorit’s street cred, she also faces jail time if she skips a court date scheduled for Sept. 5. Hopefully Dorit and PK will escape further attempts at thievery now that they’ve moved to the Valley a new home.
