‘Plants vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville’ Trailer Leaked

Horror

Hot off the heels of EA registering a new trademark for their upcoming return to the Plants vs. Zombies series in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville, someone managed to leak the trailer for the upcoming game. It’s obviously not the final version, as a couple of scenes are still sketches and the words TEMP GAME FOOTAGE appear over the action, but it’s very much real.

So real that EA has been scrambling to take down the trailer for those who post it, so the below video might not last for long. However, there are a few goodies that can be gleaned from the footage, namely the introduction of new characters like a ninja mushroom and a disco zombie. And the game itself appears to be more cartoony than the previous iterations.

No official announcement as of yet, although Gamescom is right around the corner (August 20 to 24), so don’t be surprised if EA makes it official.
